Although the spaying campaign goes on, spaying monthly between 30-50 dogs and cats, we were unpleasantly surprised to have to take in 9 kittens and 9 puppies ( one got adopted ) in the last 2 months. We are completely blocked in terms of resources and space, and the spaying campaigns are the only humane solution for reducing the number of abandoned dogs and cats. If you think of any animal, best case would be to just let it live, without human interaction, but once on the streets, cats and dogs are hit by cars, die due to infectious diseases are mistreated or get to reproduce making them targets to inhumane human actions.
