According to the World Bank, poverty rates could double from 18% to 31% in Vietnam as a result of COVID-19. The impacts of COVID-19 on people's livelihoods included increased unemployment rates, closure of schools, disruptions to supply chains affecting agriculture, import and export and negative impacts on Vietnam's tourism and hospitality industry. These impacts are likely to be amplified for rural and ethnic minority populations, as 90 per cent of the poor live in rural areas.
As a sponsor, you empower trainees with employable skills and a dream. KOTO's hospitality training program includes an internationally accredited hospitality certificate, life skills, English language, computer skills and internship at a 5-star property. By Sponsoring a Trainee/Class, trainees achieve their hospitality dreams. There are 3 sponsorship categories - Individual Trainee (350 USD for 24 months) and Class Sponsorship (100 USD for 24 months).
