Summer STEM Camps are the BEST!

By Tad Kincaid | Executive Director

Summer time - when the kids are out of school - provides us with the best opportunities to facilitate 5-day "STEM Camps" where students have the chance to participate in multi-day projects. For a typically extracurricular based project where we engage participating children in the evenings and weekends, working around school schedules, we LOVE having the chance to interact with our students for 5 full days during the summer, allowing them opportunities to work through projects requiring more time to complete. We facilitated 3 STEM Camps this Summer 2024, engaging nearly 200 youth from orphanages and other underserved communities throughout Vietnam.

We thank you for your support that helps make these educational initiatives possible. STEM learning is so exciting for our students, and it makes a big difference in orphanages where children often feel discouraged at school, and disengaged in the learning process. Slowly, but surely, we can make a difference in helping these participants to re-engage in the learning process and take steps towards their futures beyond the orphanage.

Sincerely,

Tad
