Dear Supporter,
At NSPPL, we are committed to helping children overcome physical challenges and empowering them to reclaim their lives and dreams. This is the story of young Mohammad, a displaced child from the countryside of Homs to the Aleppo region, who faced a congenital limb deformity that led to a shortened leg. The condition affected Mohammad's daily life, and he eventually left school due to bullying by his classmates, feeling isolated and discouraged by his perceived disability.
When Mohammad's family heard about NSPPL and the services we provide, they brought him to our center in Afrin. Our team of specialists assessed his condition and created a custom Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO), adjusting the brace to compensate for the leg length discrepancy. This support allowed Mohammad to walk normally without assistance, empowering him to reintegrate into his community and pursue his dream of returning to school. Mohammad expressed his gratitude to the team for helping him take the first steps back toward a normal life.
Your generous contributions make it possible for children like Mohammad to overcome obstacles and regain their independence. Thank you for being part of this journey of hope and transformation.
With heartfelt appreciation,
