Turning Pain into Possibility: A Prosthetic Journey Begins

By Vasim Cablut | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,

Your generosity continues to bring hope and real change to lives affected by conflict. Recently, Jamal returned to his land after a long and emotional wait. Sadly, his joy was interrupted when a hidden landmine one of the dangerous remnants of war exploded and led to the loss of his leg. What should have been a moment of relief quickly turned into a painful new challenge for him and his family.

Despite this hardship, Jamal has shown remarkable strength and determination. He visited our Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Afrin, where our medical team conducted a thorough assessment and examination. During his visit, precise measurements were taken to begin the process of crafting a custom prosthetic limb designed to match his level of amputation and support his daily mobility needs.

This important first step marks the beginning of a new journey toward regaining independence and stability. Thanks to supporters like you, individuals like Jamal are given a renewed chance to walk, work, and rebuild their lives after devastating injuries.

Your continued compassion and support make these life-changing moments possible, helping transform tragedy into a path of recovery and hope.

With sincere gratitude for standing beside those in need. Your kindness is creating opportunities for healing and new beginnings every day.

Warm regards,
