Rebuilding After the Earthquake - Hassan's Journey Begins

By Vasim Cablut | Project Leader

Dear Supporter,

Eight months have passed since Hassan’s life was forever changed by the devastating earthquake. As a father and the sole provider for his family, Hassan faced unimaginable hardship when he lost his leg in the aftermath of the disaster.

The physical injury was only the beginning he also endured the emotional and psychological burden of losing his independence, mobility, and ability to work. But thanks to the generosity of compassionate donors like you, hope is now within reach.

Recently, Hassan visited the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center, where he underwent a full medical and technical assessment. This evaluation led to the initial measurements for a custom-made prosthetic limb tailored to his daily needs and condition. With careful precision, the team has now begun the process of building his new limb marking the first real step toward restoring his mobility and dignity.

Your support has played a vital role in making this possible. Every donation brings someone like Hassan closer to recovery not just physically, but emotionally and socially. The journey ahead is still long, but it has begun with strength and purpose, thanks to your continued generosity.

We hope you’ll stay connected with Hassan’s story and others like his, as we continue to rebuild lives—together.

Warm regards,
