Dear Supporter,
"Today, I was born again." These were the powerful words spoken by Mohammad, a father of seven and a displaced resident from rural eastern Hama. His life took a tragic turn when he was severely injured by a landmine explosion left behind by the Assad regime on his way to work. The blast resulted in the loss of his right leg below the knee, in addition to multiple other injuries.
Thanks to your generous contributions, Mohammad's journey took a hopeful turn when he visited the NSPPL center in Afrin, northern Aleppo. Our specialized team evaluated his condition, crafted a custom prosthetic limb, and provided training to help him regain his mobility. Today, Mohammad is walking again—and more importantly, returning to work and reclaiming his role as a provider for his family.
Your support has restored dignity and purpose to someone who had lost so much. Stories like Mohammad’s are a testament to the impact your kindness can make. As we continue to serve more individuals like him, your continued support is essential in helping others take their first steps toward a new life.
With sincere appreciation,
