After losing his limb, even the simplest movements became a daily challenge. Walking independently, leaving home, and returning to a normal routine suddenly felt far away.

But because of your support, Nasser has now received a new prosthetic limb.

Today, he is taking steps forward again — not only physically, but toward greater independence, confidence, and dignity.

For Nasser, this prosthetic is more than a medical device.

It is the possibility of standing again. Moving again. Rebuilding again.

Every small improvement in rehabilitation can open the door to a much bigger change.

At the NSPPL center in Afrin, Sarah has been making encouraging progress through continued physiotherapy and specialized support.

Sarah was born with congenital clubfoot and later experienced serious complications following meningitis, which affected both of her lower limbs and made basic movements, including sitting independently, extremely difficult.

With the support of our rehabilitation team, Sarah has received targeted physiotherapy focused on strengthening her legs, pelvis, and feet, improving flexibility, and supporting better alignment. She was also fitted with an Ankle-Foot Orthosis (AFO) to help correct the position of her feet and support her mobility.

Today, Sarah has reached an important milestone.

She is now able to sit independently and stand with the support of a walker.

There is still more work ahead, and Sarah continues to receive treatment, but every step forward is a reminder of what consistent care can achieve.
