Dear Supporter,
Khaled, a resident of Aleppo and a father of three, faced unimaginable challenges when he lost his right leg below the knee due to artillery shelling while on his way to work. This tragic incident not only affected his ability to work and support his family but also led to a painful journey of displacement, taking him from Aleppo to the countryside of Idlib, and finally to the city of Al-Bab.
Recently, Khaled visited the National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs ( NSPPL ) center in Al-Bab, where he was welcomed and underwent a thorough evaluation of both his physical and emotional needs. Following the assessments, we began the process of manufacturing and fitting a prosthetic limb for him. With the support and training provided by our team and your donation, Khaled has regained his ability to walk and stand independently. He is now back at work, determined to provide for his family's needs once again.
As Khaled expressed, "I was dead, and today I came back to life again." Your support made this transformation possible, giving Khaled the hope and strength to rebuild his life. Thank you for being an essential part of this journey.
With gratitude,
