Ahmed, a Syrian refugee, faced immense challenges after losing his lower leg. Determined to overcome his difficulties and provide for his family, Ahmed received a below-the-knee prosthetic limb through the Steps to Recovery: Supporting Syrian Amputees project. This prosthetic has transformed his life by enabling him to stand with confidence, resume his work, and support his loved ones.
With his newfound independence, Ahmed can now engage in daily activities that were once difficult, offering him both physical and emotional strength. This significant change has renewed his hope for the future, allowing him to rebuild his life despite the hardships he has endured.
