Dear Supporter,
At NSPPL centers, our specialized physical therapists are dedicated to providing vital physical therapy services for individuals affected by muscular atrophy. Muscular atrophy, characterized by the loss or reduction of muscle mass and strength, can result from various causes such as cerebral palsy, hemiplegia, neurological injuries, aging, reduced physical activity, and chronic illnesses. Physical therapy plays a crucial role in treating muscular atrophy by improving muscle strength and function.
Recently, we had the opportunity to provide this essential therapy to Ahmed, who, like many others, is working to regain his strength and mobility. Through targeted exercises and dedicated care, Ahmed is on the path toward improved muscle function and a better quality of life.
Thanks to the Steps to Recovery: Supporting Syrian Amputees project and the generosity of our supporters, individuals like Ahmed receive the life-changing treatments they need. Your continued support enables us to help more individuals overcome the challenges of muscular atrophy and regain their independence.
Thank you for making a difference.
With gratitude,
