Ahmed, a married Syrian who lost his lower limb due to the devastating earthquake, has been fitted with a new prosthetic leg. This essential support not only helps Ahmed regain his mobility but also enhances his ability to care for his family despite the hardships of displacement.
Following the prosthetic fitting, Ahmed received comprehensive training on how to use his new limb effectively, paired with physical therapy to strengthen his muscles and improve balance. Through these steps, Ahmed is on his way to a more independent and confident life.
