Dear Supporter,
Mohammad, a man in his thirties from Damascus, was arbitrarily detained by the Syrian regime during the revolution. In prison, he endured years of extreme physical and psychological torture, including electric shocks, which took a severe toll on his health. After his release, significant vascular complications led to the amputation of one leg due to arterial blockage.
Despite these hardships, Mohammad sought help at the Afrin Center—part of the Syrian National Project for Prosthetics and supported by the NSPPL organization. There, a dedicated medical team warmly welcomed him, assessed his condition, and provided critical physical therapy. They then fitted him with a prosthetic limb tailored to his needs, granting him renewed mobility and independence.
Today, Mohammad walks forward with confidence, embracing a future infused with hope and ambition. His story reflects both the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative impact that thoughtful support can bring to those in dire need.
Thanks to contributions from compassionate individuals like you, Mohammad’s life took a positive turn. As more people continue to face similar challenges, your ongoing generosity can help ensure that others, too, have the opportunity to reclaim their lives and move toward a brighter future.
With gratitude,
