Wael, a 31-year-old Syrian man, faced immense challenges after losing his lower left limb below the knee due to the devastating earthquake. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the NSPPL team under the Syrian National Project for Prosthetic Limbs, Wael underwent a thorough assessment and received a custom-designed prosthetic limb tailored to his needs. Following his prosthetic fitting, he embarked on a rehabilitation program, learning to walk again with renewed confidence and independence.
