Dear Supporter,
We are delighted to share a meaningful moment from our work at the NSPPL Center in Afrin—made possible through the compassion and generosity of donors like you.
Eight-year-old Omar, who lives with a meningocele condition that resulted in paralysis of his lower limbs, recently visited our center. Recognizing the immense importance of psychological support for children with disabilities, our team provided Omar with a comprehensive psychosocial care session. This included a psychological assessment for both him and his caregiver, as well as an awareness session with his father to ensure a deeper understanding of Omar’s rights—especially his rights to education, care, and inclusion.
Psychological support for children with disabilities is not just a service—it is a necessity. It strengthens their self-esteem, enhances mental health, supports their families, and fosters better social communication and interaction. Every child deserves the chance to thrive, and your support brings us closer to making that a reality.
Thank you for standing with us in this journey of healing and hope. Your continued interest in our mission helps transform lives every day, often in the quietest, most profound ways.
With gratitude,
