We are excited to share with you the story of Salar, a courageous five-year-old boy from Afrin who has been battling cerebral atrophy since birth. This condition, caused by oxygen deprivation during delivery, resulted in significant developmental delays and severe motor impairments. Salar has never been able to stand independently, and his journey has been marked by great physical challenges.
Recently, Salar and his family visited our NSPPL center in Afrin, where his condition was carefully evaluated by our team of specialists. Thanks to your continued support, we were able to provide him with essential physical therapy services and custom-made orthopedic assistive devices, including Night Kavo and Solid AFO braces. These devices are vital in helping correct foot deformities and improve his ability to perform basic motor functions—bringing him one step closer to walking.
This progress wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and generosity of donors like you. Your contributions are not just numbers—they translate into real impact, real hope, and real change for children like Salar.
