Dear Supporter,
Your generosity has helped rewrite a powerful story of resilience and friendship. Meet Abed, Mohammad, and Ali—three young men whose lives were forever altered by the same devastating earthquake. Each of them suffered above-the-knee amputations and found themselves on a shared journey not just of recovery, but of renewed purpose.
Their paths crossed during the hardships of displacement and injury, and together, they sought hope and healing. With courage in their hearts, they visited NSPPL’s mobile clinic in the city of Jarablus, where their cases were carefully evaluated. They were later referred to NSPPL’s main center in Al-Bab, where they received custom prosthetic limbs and underwent tailored rehabilitation programs.
Thanks to your support, Abed, Mohammad, and Ali are now walking again—independently and with dignity. More than that, they’ve built a lasting bond through their shared experience, reminding us all of the power of community and human resilience.
Their heartfelt thanks go out to every individual and organization who played a role in this journey. And as we reflect on this remarkable transformation, we’re reminded that every contribution brings someone one step closer to reclaiming their life.
With deepest appreciation,
