At one of our Syrian Foundation for Prosthetics and Rehabilitation (NSPPL) centers, we recently welcomed an eight-year-old girl facing significant physical challenges due to foot drop, accompanied by severe heel deviation and arch deformities. These conditions had made walking a daily struggle, hindering her balance and ability to participate in typical childhood activities.
Thanks to your continued generosity, we were able to conduct a comprehensive clinical and technical assessment and provide her with a custom Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO). This specialized orthotic device supports her ankle joint in proper alignment, prevents further deviations, and improves her walking efficiency and stability.
With consistent use, as guided by our specialists, this brace will play a pivotal role in restoring her mobility, independence, and confidence. This transformation wouldn't be possible without the heartfelt support of donors like you.
