Dear Supporter,
Because of your generous support, we were able to begin a transformative journey with Ammar—a young man born with cerebral atrophy that has affected his mobility since childhood. Standing and walking independently have always been a challenge for him.
Recently, Ammar visited our Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Afrin, where he underwent a comprehensive physical assessment followed by targeted physiotherapy. Our specialized team then initiated the fitting process for a custom KAFO (Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis), a supportive device designed to aid his mobility.
This device is set to change Ammar’s daily life in remarkable ways:
It provides full support from the thigh to the foot.
It enhances balance and enables safer standing and walking.
It reduces the risk of falls and increases overall stability.
Most importantly, it empowers him to be more self-reliant in everyday tasks.
Ammar is now taking his first confident steps toward greater independence and stability—steps made possible because of you.
