Dear Donors and Well Wishers,
Greetings from BPA INDIA!!
We pray and hope this email finds you in Great Spirit and Health.
The second wave of Kovid 19 in India was very scary and deadly. There were not many casualties in the first wave, but in the second wave many family members lost their relatives and had to spend a lot on treatment. The family's financial situation, which had deteriorated due to the lockdown, worsened due to the Second Wave. The worst impact of Kovid 19 has been on poor families, including families of persons with disabilities. These families were living on retail and daily income, but all of a sudden this situation stopped their income, and it was difficult to get even a one-time meal. The Stop Hunger Project is a ray of hope for such families not to face starvation, and to live a life of pride.
Under this program, ration kits have been provided to more than 38000 families in the condition of Kovid. This divine work continues to this day. The project is aimed at providing one kit per month to more than 500 families of elderly persons with disabilities who are unable to engage in any economic activity.
Hello, I am Pragjibhai, I had an eye problem due to high fever in my childhood, my parents spent a lot of money in the hope that I would see again, but everything was in vain. But I felt more helpless in the epidemic of Kovid 19 than I felt helpless in losing my sight. I had a small business, from which I earned 200 to 300 rupees a day. But after the lockdown, my closed business could not start. There was a time when I started thinking of ending my life. If we go out, we have to touch everything and go away, which makes us feel scared of corona. Anxiety about getting food in these horrible times was constant. It seemed that death would not be due to corona but due to starvation. But the Stop Hunger Project of the Blind People's Association was a blessing in disguise for many people with disabilities like us, which ensured we got 2 meals a day. It is because of this project that we can talk about this today. We would like to thank all the donors and all those who helped.
The condition of the families whose main breadwinner has died due to Corona disease has also deteriorated. This Stop Hunger Project will help such families to get regular rations. We urge you to support this noble cause, and we will work together to eradicate hunger.
Thanking you once again for your kind support and cooperation
