Dear Friends
I am Vansh Jhamnani, and I had the privilege of spending two months as an intern with Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan (RSKS India). Being a part of the RSKS team was a truly meaningful experience that allowed me to contribute to various community-focused programs while learning from the organization’s dedicated and compassionate approach toward social development.
During my internship, I assisted in organizing and managing data for different projects, which strengthened my understanding of how an NGO functions internally. I also had the opportunity to participate in several field activities, where I played an active role in distributing essential supplies to slum-dwelling families, helping educate underprivileged children, and contributing to the creation of a documentary short film.
These experiences not only deepened my practical knowledge but also taught me the value of discipline, responsibility, and dedication—qualities that are at the heart of RSKS India’s impactful work.
Through my time in the field, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by people in rural and marginalized communities. Observing their struggles—limited resources, difficult living conditions, and lack of opportunities—made me more aware, empathetic, and committed to contributing toward meaningful social change. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of humanitarian work.
Working with data and spreadsheets helped me improve my organizational skills and enhance my technical abilities—skills that will certainly benefit me in my academic journey and future career. More importantly, this internship has shaped my perspective on life and society, encouraging me to stay mindful and compassionate.
Although my time at RSKS India was short, it was incredibly enriching. I gained insights into the hard work that goes into creating real, positive change in communities. I am truly grateful for the guidance, support, and constant encouragement provided by the entire RSKS team.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute, learn, and grow. The memories and lessons I carry from this experience will stay with me forever.
Sincerely,
Vansh Jhamnani
