A Warm Greeting from RSKS India.....
In many villages, there's a big problem called "child marriage." This means young kids, especially girls, are getting married way too early. It stops them from going to school, having a good future, and often leads to health issues. People have been doing this for a long time because it's a tradition, but it's not good for the kids. The big problem is that not many people were saying, "This is not okay," and not many knew about the bad things it causes for the kids. So, RSKS India saw that the lack of people saying, "Stop this!" and not enough awareness was a big problem.
RSKS India came up with a smart plan to solve this big problem through "My Childhood-My Rights" Campaign. The RSKS India team went to 30 different schools in the villages, and around 1450 kids became part of this plan. RSKS India team did something called a "Signature Oath." It's like when you promise to do something really important. These kids promised together to always fight against child marriage. They promised to stop it from happening in their villages. This is smart because these kids are like the future leaders of the villages. When they grow up, they will remember the promise they made and tell others, "We can't do child marriage anymore." It's like a super team of kids working to make things better.
This cool plan made a big impact! The kids who took the Signature Oath became like superheroes for their villages. Everyone could see that these kids were serious about stopping child marriage. The promise they made became a big deal in the villages. People started talking about it more, and some even changed their minds about child marriage. More kids started going to school, dreaming of big futures. This means the "My Childhood-My Rights" Campaign worked! The Signature Oath became a powerful tool to make sure everyone knows that child marriage is not okay, and the kids are the ones leading the way to change it.
