The Touch Campaign....

An Small IMPACT!!

My name is Kusum and I am principal of the girls government school Dumada. There are 230 girls getting education from the school. We do give the bookish knowledge to these girls but cannot give them education about self safety and social knowledge. Small girls do not know that what type of gesture an outsider is giving to her and this is social knowledge. Outsiders do give wrong gesture to these girls and this causes a mental strain on them and they do mnot know what to do.

To give this social knowledge, RSKS INDIA organized a Gesture program of good touch and bad touch in our school. In this program all the girls and teachers took participation. RSKS women workers gave the gesture information by using flipcharts and colour cards and from this the small girl children came to know about the good and bad touch. In this program, the girl children were also told about what to do when someone gives you a bad touch.

The information provided in this program of good touch and bad touch will spread to everyone by its own means as the people who were present there will surely spread this awareness. Previous year a bad touch situation was seen in our school but now there is no such type of situation as everyone knows about the good and bad touch. Now girls do know that how they can save themselves from this type of bad touch situations. For giving this type of important information to the girls, I and my staff members do thank RSKS INDIA and GG for this.

Successful Glorious 27 Years !!

We feel Very proud to RSKS India completed Successful 27 years with #May_all_live_Happily and The organization has made its identity as a Leading & Highly Credible organization.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, like every year, has celebrated its Foundation Day on 2nd December 2019 this year. On this occasion, the activists of the RSKS organization celebrated this big bash with Helpless street and slum children. They cut cake, danced and enjoyed a lot in the celebration. Besides, Foundation Day celebration was organized in “Pathshala - school” and “Udan, a school for drop-out women” managed by RSKS India.

On the occasion of the Foundation Day, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan distributed woollen blankets to 45 poor families residing roadside so that they can protect themselves from the shivering cold. Similarly, a workshop was organized concerning legal rights of women. After the completion of the workshop, a rally was held in which women delivered awareness message for the prevention of violence against women to the society. In this series, 30 shaddy and fruitful trees were planted in a distant village in Ajmer where the participants took oath to keep trees conserved. In addition to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan installed 21 eco-friendly nests at homes in the foothills of Aravali ranges for the conservation of sparrow. In order to provide better and sustainable livelihood to single mother, sewing machines were given to four such singale women with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation.

The Foundation Day was celebrated 11 places where almost 900 beneficiaries including women, girls, men and children enjoyed in the celebrations. The celebration also had importance as it was the Successful 27 years of RSKS India.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in these 27 years, has worked for more than one lakh marginalized and deprived people of 1050 villages. In order to make them self-reliant and empowered, the organization has put its significant efforts through several programs as vocational education, women empowerment, agricultural development, conservation of environment, educational development and sustainable livelihood and the organization still keeps putting its efforts for the same.

It is the guidance of GlobalGiving Foundation and the generous donations of all respectable donors that brings positive energy to us due to which our activists are always ready to put themselves into action with dedication and devotion for the development and empowerment of the deprived community. Break The Silence about Violence....!!

Women violence prevention and to stop social issues like sex inequality, child marriage, female infanticide, dowry system etc, is the main work of RSKS INDIA. RSKS INDIA is working with determination to aware the people about all these problems and they do this by organizing various programs. In this awareness programs, many stories come forward which fight with these evils and finished it. Today we are presenting one case study in front of you.

My name is Rukna (Name Changed) and I am from joint family. I have two daughters and one son. My family is male dominating in which all the decisions are taken by Male head of the family and females are not allowed to participate in this. Due to this reason my daughters not get any education. After some time, in my neighborhood an awareness program was started by RSKS INIDA, in which I participated. This program was on to prevent the child marriage and sex inequality. l got many information about social issues from this program and there was an open discussion on the sex inequality and child marriage and I also gave my views on the topic.

After this program, some days later the male members of my family decided for marriage of my minor daughters and I completely disagree from this proposal but the male head reject my thoughts and views .Then I contacted the RSKS India and gave all the information. Next day, RSKS India took an action on this topic. They consulted with the male members of the family and made them understand with the help of counseling. After 3 steps of counseling my husband and all the family members knew the demerits of the child marriage and after that they stopped our daughter’s child marriage.

I thanked RSKS India which helped me to save the future and life of my daughters. Now they are going to school also. RSKS totally changed the thoughts of my family members. Now, my family members do not discriminate between girls and boys and they allow them to complete their dreams also. For this great work I thank the donors, RSKS and GG with bottom of my heart.
