This project will support the training and administrative expenses required to accomplish six key objectives. We work in cooperation with government agencies and private organizations to 1. support and encourage strong and healthy families. 2. prevent social problems in Thai society. 3. develop good leaders. 4. support and create education opportunities. 5. establish counseling centers to address family problems, addictions, and abuse. 6. provide expertise and collaboration with 49 partners.
The Family Connection Foundation supports strong and healthy families by addressing a variety of social issues in Thai society such as fighting human trafficking, counseling victims of abuse, and providing education opportunities. Like any other organization, accomplishing our mission requires an administrative budget. Currently, that budget is mostly self funded by our own volunteers which reduces their effectiveness through less available resources.
Right now our volunteers and projects generously self fund 95% of our annual administrative budget. This project will help reduce the financial burden on those who are already investing their time, money and lives into helping Thai society and free up more funding to go directly to the projects, programs and people our foundation is trying to help.
The long term impact is that our foundation will be even more effective than it already is at tackling many social issues in Thailand because we will be empowered with a reasonable, efficient, and healthy administrative budget.
