Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank everyone who has supported the Support 1,500 Malaria Patients with Medication project. Your generosity shows care for families facing malaria without the means to pay for treatment.
Malaria remains one of the leading causes of illness and death in Nigeria, especially in low-income communities. Many patients delay treatment because they cannot afford drugs, tests, or clinic visits. When care is delayed, simple symptoms can quickly turn severe, leading to weakness, lost income, or death. Clinics in rural areas and urban slums are often overwhelmed and lack enough medication to serve everyone who comes for help.
This project is designed to supply antimalarial medication for 1,500 patients through selected clinics with high malaria cases. Drugs will be provided in bulk so health workers can treat patients promptly. Alongside medication, patients will receive basic guidance on fever control, recovery, and warning signs that require follow-up care. This support will help clinics respond faster and manage patient flow more effectively.
While donations have been received, additional support is still needed before medication purchase and distribution can begin. Expanding the funding base will allow clinics to stock drugs and reach patients who are currently going untreated.
With timely treatment, many lives can be saved, and the spread of malaria reduced. We will continue to share updates as the project moves closer to implementation.
Thank you for standing with communities affected by malaria and helping make treatment accessible.
Kind regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
