Thanks to our donors through GlobalGiving since June 2018, 2 more women in Eskisehir were able to get a loan to invest in their micro businesses. G.K.K. has been earning her living by selling eggs of her free range chickens. Her husband is a farmer and in addition to farming they raise chickens. With her first loan, she bought new chickens to increase the number of eggs to sell. E.B.B. has been sewing traditional dresses for wedding and engagement ceremonies. She has been also doing special embroidery on the traditional dresses. With her second loan, she bought velvet fabric in bulk to increase her profit margin. Since June 2015, KEDV raised a total of USD7,680 through 132 donations through GlobalGiving and disbursed loans to 23 low income women for their micro businesses and gave financial literacy training to 15 women in addition to these 23. We still have a long way to reach our target of USD 70.000 to be able to support 200 low income women entrepreneurs. We would be grateful if you could continue to spread the word and share the project link in your networks. Warm regards…
