Support 300 Children with Cerebral Palsy in Kano

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank those who have contributed to the Support 300 Children with Cerebral Palsy in Kano project. Your support reflects care for children and families facing daily challenges linked to disability and limited services.

In Kano, many children living with cerebral palsy do not receive basic therapy or mobility support. Families often lack guidance on feeding, hygiene, and daily care, while public health centers have few trained workers or tools to assist. As a result, many children experience pain, stiffness, and preventable complications that limit movement and daily comfort as they grow.

This project is planned to support 300 children through physical therapy sessions, mobility aids, and caregiver education. Trained health workers will guide therapy activities, while caregivers will learn safe ways to support children at home. Mobile teams are also planned to reach families who cannot travel to therapy centers, so no child is left out due to distance.

At this time, although donations have been received, the amount available will not be enough to fund activities yet. Training, equipment purchase, and therapy delivery cannot begin until additional support is secured.

With sufficient funding, this project can help children improve movement, reduce pain, and take part more comfortably in daily life. Families will also gain skills to provide better care at home, easing long-term strain. We will continue to share updates as plans progress.
