2023 winter career workshop

We will have 22 graduates in 2023! In addition to financial supports, we also hope to provide more courses and opportunities to help them relieve mental pressure for university entrance exam, expand the world and find their own value. On the evening of March 4th 2023, we also brought some different classes to the graduates.
About the truth university entrance exam is not the only chance of life
"Before the college entrance examination, there is one thing which is examination in our life and there is so much pressure happened in the journal." The volunteer Yang Qi led everyone to write down the difficulties or problems that hindered progress and encouraged everyone to face the difficulties. We have the strength and courage to overcome difficulties. Everyone's life is not always successful, we should believe and calmly accept the results of our own efforts. Because no matter how the result is, we always look forward to find a path that works for you.
About the finding of ourselves
Eriksson's theory of personality development eight stages (12-18) mentioned in adolescents is facing the contradiction of self-identity of identity confusion. In this stage, teenagers around the world are building new method of observing and thinking. This is why it is so important to know yourself correctly. So, Summer shared the MBTI test with them, so that we can have a better understanding of your current and future self through the test, and encouraged you to use the results to embark on a journey of self-understanding!

Story of Rui

Rui is one of the scholarship program recipients of Shining Star from 2015 to 2018. Diligent and studious, she also got excellent grade after the college entrance examination and was admitted to Zhongkai University of Engineering and Agriculture. During college, she also returned to Shining Star, becoming a volunteer student and Shining Star intern. With the heart of giving back, she returned to senior high school to support more scholarship program recipients to relieve their pressure of study and provide career workshop to them for getting better to university. She also went to Grow program, becoming a volunteer teacher in mountainous areas to help left-behind children to get better resilience. In addition, she is eager to learn, and hopes to enter the graduate school, with more professional ability to help more farmers. In 2022, she has successfully entered South China Agricultural University for postgraduate study. Pay it forward! Our help of Scholarship program is just the beginning. This power to make people have more life choices guides the students to realize their dreams and go to the ideal future!
