In the 2026 academic year, the Scholarship Program enrolled a total of 21 female recipients. During their high school studies, two students withdrew for personal reasons. Ultimately, 19 students participated in the college entrance examination, of whom 18 were successfully admitted to higher education institutions and one was not. The overall admission rate stands at 85.7%, representing an improvement over previous years and indicating a positive upward trajectory in academic progression.
Reviewing the admission results, students' examination scores ranged from 307 to 468, covering both undergraduate and junior college tiers. Two students were admitted to undergraduate programs, an increase of one compared to last year. The students' choice of majors is broadly pragmatic, with most concentrating in skill-oriented fields where society faces relative shortages, aligning well with labor market demands. Majors in the health sciences cluster—such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, Midwifery, and Medical Laboratory Technology—directly address the grassroots healthcare needs arising from an aging population. Programs like Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Technology, Digital Media Technology, and Animation Production align with trends in intelligent manufacturing and the digital creative industries. Similarly, Land Resource Survey and Management, along with Chinese Herbal Medicine Cultivation and Processing, respond to talent gaps in natural resource governance and the revitalization of traditional Chinese medicine. These choices reflect the students' clear career awareness, which has also been reinforced by our career guidance activities.
Regarding those who withdrew or were not admitted, we have fully understood their individual circumstances through school teachers. We respect each student's life choices and will continue to offer care and support within our capacity. Whether they choose to retake the exam, enter the workforce, or pursue other paths, Shiningstar extends its sincere best wishes for their steady progress in whatever fields they may enter.
We deeply appreciate the continued support from all benefactors in our community. We hope all students will ground themselves in the present, grow with resilience, and achieve success in their own ways.
