A Warm Greeting from RSKS India !!
At the age of 30 Navrang (Name Changed), life had already presented me with countless challenges. My name is Himanshu, and I live in a small rural village in Rajasthan. I was born with a disability. From a young age, my parents and I had to confront numerous difficulties in moving me from one place to another. Our financial situation only exacerbated the problem, as my father worked as a daily wage laborer and my mother was a housewife. We simply couldn't afford a wheelchair, leaving me dependent on others for my mobility.
The RSKS team members understood the challenges my family and I faced and empathized with our situation. They tirelessly worked to link me with various government schemes and programs that could potentially alleviate my difficulties. I was astounded by their commitment to helping individuals like me, who often go unnoticed by society. Through their relentless efforts, the RSKS team managed to secure a wheelchair for me. When I first laid eyes on it, a surge of emotions overwhelmed me. The wheelchair was more than just a means of transport; it was a symbol of independence, a vehicle for me to explore the world on my terms. It was a moment of overwhelming joy, not just for me but for my entire family.
From the moment I sat in the wheelchair, my life transformed. Suddenly, I had the ability to move freely, without relying on others. I could navigate through narrow village lanes and reach places that were once inaccessible to me. The world seemed to open up, full of endless possibilities. Simple tasks that were once arduous became manageable. I could now attend school regularly, interact with my friends, and pursue my dreams with newfound vigor. The wheelchair not only provided physical mobility but also ignited a fire within me to strive for a better future. RSKS India's intervention not only transformed my life but also brought relief and happiness to my parents. I am eternally grateful to RSKS India and its dedicated team members for their tireless efforts and unwavering support.
