A Story of Nanu......!!
My name is Nanu (Name Changed) and I live in a rural inaccessible village, far away from the Ajmer city. I am disabled by my both legs and I live with my brother’s wife and her 3 children. My brother and my parents died so many years ago and from that time. I have all the responsibilities of the house and also of the children. I am not well educated as well as my brother’s wife is also not well educated so we did little things from which we can earn money to run the house like selling pots, chulha etc. I face many financial problems every time because of our poor financial condition and dependency on others for small things like milk. In our village many people are having goat, cow or buffalo, from which they get milk but we have to purchase milk from them as we don’t have anything. Also, I work as tyre repair person but I don’t have proper resources to run a shop.
I am also a part of the disabled group of Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan and when I told my story to the RSKS India team then they quickly sent their team members to provide livelihood assistance to me through getting my baseline survey. In the baseline survey I told them that I need a goat and tyre repair materials by which I will be able to do my tyre repair work easily. After some days, RSKS India team members came to our village and came back with a banner for my shop, 2 goats, and so many tyre repairing materials like tubeless tyre puncture kit, jack, puncture stopping stickers, repairing tools, new tyres, new tubes etc materials. My village people also gathered and RSKS team members opened my tyre repair shop and told me that it was possible through donors support and efforts of RSKS Team.
Now me and my family are getting milk daily from the goat and we do not have to purchase milk from anyone which hence helps us to save some money. Through the milk, the health of my family is also improving and from the tyre repair shop and the tyre repairing materials, I am able to do my tyre repair work and earning 9000 from that. Many village people also come to me to have their tyre repaired as they know that I am having all the tyre repair materials. Me and my family thanks RSKS India team for making me and my family self-dependent and providing us such a wonderful livelihood support. Now I am able to look after my family and able to provide them good food and education.

Mesmerizing Story Of Munni......!!
I am known as Munni and I live with my husband I a rural village far away from the city. I am 37 years old and I am disabled by my both legs. Whenever I have to go anywhere then I have to scroll to different places which not only makes my dress dirty but also makes me feel ashamed as when it is rainy season then also, I have to cross the roads or anywhere while getting into the dirty water. My husband is a daily wages earner and for him running our household expenses are enough. I also wish to have a tricycle by which I would also be able to roam around without any problem but I didn’t know when this wish was going to be real.
I was also a part of the disabled group of RSKS India where RSKS India does monthly meetings and asks for our problems and gives solutions to our problems. They supported me in making my disability card and in starting my disability pension. Once in the meeting I told the RSKS team members that I want a tricycle and told them about all the reasons that why I need it the most. Then the RSKS Team members asked for documents of mine and went back with the photocopy of the documents and then one day I got a call from RSKS team members and they said that you have to come to city as they have arranged a tricycle for me. They supported me in getting this tricycle.
Now from this tricycle, I am able to roam without any problem. Now I go to purchase vegetables and household items without any tension. Now my clothes also do not get dirty and I feel like now I don’t need others to always move me from one place to another. I am so happy after getting the tricycle as now my dream has come true. Me and my husband thank RSKS India team from bottom of our heart for such a wonderful support of this tricycle.
