It Wasn't Just a Degree. It Was a Way Forward.

By Kenita Smith | President/CEO & Founder

For years, Bianca did everything she knew to do. She worked. She raised her children. She enrolled in college. When life got in the way, she started over.

Then she started over again.

Over the next decade, Bianca attended multiple schools and worked countless jobs, determined to build a better future for her family. Yet no matter how hard she worked, she couldn't seem to get ahead. The bills were still there. The responsibilities were still there. The dream was still there too.

Everything changed when she found H.O.P.E.

For the first time, Bianca wasn't carrying the weight of her future alone. The support she received gave her the stability to keep going when life would have otherwise forced her to stop. One class became another. One semester became another. And eventually, after years of trying, she earned her degree and stepped into opportunities that once felt out of reach.

Today, Bianca serves as H.O.P.E.'s Administrative Coordinator. The same organization that once helped her keep moving forward is now the place where she helps other families do the same. Because the degree was never just about graduation. It was about creating opportunities that didn't exist before, building a more stable future for her family, and showing her children what is possible when perseverance is met with support.

Thank you for helping make stories like Bianca's possible.
