Dear Patrons,
Thank you very much for the valuable support to Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization, the project that support community health workers in Rwanda. It a great honor to have you!
I am happy to share with you that our organization continue to conduct regular training and workshop on Infectious diseases prevention and control , those training and workshop target150 community health workers in Rulindo district/Burega sector. We do conduct Practical sessions and similation exercises.
Dear Patron, In Rwanda, Community Health Workers (CHW) are the first health contact for patients, children, pregnant woman, people with chronic diseases etc. Having well trained community health workers is definately to improve the quality of care.
In fact, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have highlighted different gaps in infectious diseases prevention and control as well as lack of basic sanitation materials supplies and personal protective equipment for CHWs.
If CHWs are not protected and well skilled, they are at the highest risk of contracting any infectious diseases and spread it to the rest of the community, leading to catastrophic outcomes.
To keep our work going as planned, we request you to donate generously for our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. Your support will continue to support this project, and we can not achieved our goals without your support.
Kind regards
Rwaydavo president
