We are focused on:
- Monitoring contacts over time to ensure no new chains of transmission emerge
- Maintaining strong surveillance systems even after initial cases are contained
- Continuing community education to reinforce prevention practices
Outbreaks can resurge if vigilance drops too soon. Let's join hands in ensuring community safety and health among rural communities in Uganda in the fight against Ebola outbreak. This is timely and urgent for effective control and management in containing the surge
