From June 9 to 11, the Jiyan Foundation team at the Duhok branch successfully organised three impactful sessions that brought together fifteen individuals from various ethnic and religious backgrounds in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. These three impactful sessions, focused on topics like interfaith understanding and conflict resolution, provided a valuable platform for youths from Christian, Muslim, and Yazidi communities to engage in meaningful and productive discussions about promoting peaceful coexistence.
The sessions aimed to foster dialogue and understanding among the participants, encouraging them to share their unique perspectives and experiences. By creating a safe and inclusive space, we enabled these young individuals to explore common ground and build mutual respect and empathy.
Through interactive activities and open conversations, the participants gained insights into the importance of unity and the power of collaboration in overcoming differences.
The positive feedback from the participants highlights the success of these sessions in paving the way for a more harmonious and inclusive future. The Jiyan Foundation remains committed to promoting peace and understanding through such initiatives, and we are grateful for the support that makes this vital work possible.
Thank you once again for your generous support and belief in our mission.
