Dear donors and supporters,

Over the past three months, thanks to your generous support, we have made significant progress in helping communities affected by the devastating September 2024 floods in southern Poland. Your contributions have enabled us to provide critical assistance to those in need, restoring access to essential services and bringing hope to those who lost so much.

One of the most pressing challenges following the floods was access to clean drinking water. In partnership with Xylem, which provided us with pumps, and in cooperation with local volunteer fire brigades, we undertook the task of cleaning and restoring wells in the villages of Radochów, Skrzynki, and Radochów. These small communities, lacking access to municipal water supplies, had been without clean drinking water for over three months. Their nearest source of safe water was more than two kilometers away. The floods contaminated the wells with E. coli, posing a serious health risk. Thanks to our collective efforts, we successfully cleaned 43 wells and 14 basements, restoring access to safe drinking water for nearly 200 people.

In addition to restoring access to clean water, our volunteers played a crucial role in helping flood victims reclaim their homes and essential facilities. With the help of 72 dedicated volunteers, funded by our donors, we organized three-day visits to flood-affected areas. During these missions, volunteers cleaned and restored key community institutions, including the local health center, a school, and over 20 homes. As a result, residents now have access to medical care, and children can return to their education, bringing much-needed normalcy back to their lives.

Among those who received assistance was Mrs. Maria, a 78-year-old flood victim who lost nearly everything. With your support, we provided her with medications, building materials, and volunteers who helped clean her home, giving her a safe and dignified place to live once again.

Despite the progress we have made, there is still much to be done. Many families remain in need of assistance as they work to rebuild their lives. With your continued support, we can help even more people recover and regain their independence.

We are deeply grateful for your generosity and commitment to helping these communities. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every shared story of resilience makes a real difference.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

Warm regards from Poland,

Dawid
