Years of conflict in Syria continue to leave thousands of children without stable parental care and safe living conditions. Many orphanages and child care centers remain under significant pressure due to limited resources, increasing needs, and the long-term effects of war on vulnerable children. Children living in these conditions face ongoing risks related to emotional well-being, education, protection, and healthy development.
Through the Support Orphanages for Children in Syria project, YEÇED continues to support orphanages caring for children affected by conflict and displacement. The project helps provide essential needs such as safe accommodation, daily meals, clothing, heating, education, and psychosocial support. By strengthening the capacity of orphanages and supporting caregivers, children are able to live in a safer and more stable environment where their basic needs and well-being are prioritized.
In addition to meeting immediate needs, the project also contributes to children’s long-term development and resilience. Access to education, emotional support, and consistent care helps children regain a sense of safety and stability despite the challenges caused by prolonged conflict. Through continued support for orphanages and caregivers, YEÇED remains committed to protecting vulnerable children and helping them build a more hopeful future
