Estos pasados años han sido de mucho crecimiento y aprendizaje. La pandemia del COVID-19 trajo nuevos problemas que atender, nuevas realidades que mirar y, además de la tristeza y dolor, también nos dio la oportunidad de repensar nuestras circunstancias, nuestro modo y propósito de hacer las cosas. En nuestros proyectos de bienestar emocional CODAMO y Mejor Vida, pudimos integrar la tecnología para acercarnos a las personas que necesitaban acompañamiento durante estos años de aislamiento social. Logramos mantener los servicios siendo creativos en el modo de alcanzar a la gente. En este año 2023 hicimos la transición al modo presencial en nuestras actividades y servicios. Ha sido una alegría muy grande poder encontrarnos físicamente de nuevo. Aún así, seguimos con la opción de encuentros virtuales, ya que se han hecho parte de la forma de trabajar y nos permite alcanzar a personas más lejanas ísicamente. Hemos decidido cerrar este proyecto en GlobalGiving para concentrar los esfuerzos en nuestros dos proyectos principales: Empower mental/emotional wellbeing in Puerto Rico (#43713) y Boost microbusiness in Puerto Rico (#48876). Agradecemos a todas las personas que muy generosamente contribuyeron con este proyecto. Nos permitieron continuar el trabajo durante estos años de pandemia y aislamiento social. Pueden seguirnos a través de las páginas de estos dos proyectos en GlobalGiving para que puedan ver los logros que seguimos alcanzando gracias a la solidaridad de todos ustedes. These past years have been of much growth, and learning. The COVID-19 pandemic brought new problems to attend to, new realities to look at, and, in addition to sadness, and pain, it also gave us the opportunity to rethink our circumstances, our way, and purpose of doing things. In our emotional well-being projects CODAMO and Mejor Vida, we were able to integrate technology to get closer to people who needed accompaniment during these years of social isolation. We manage to keep the services by being creative in how we reach people. In this year 2023 we made the transition to face-to-face mode in our activities and services. It has been a great joy to be able to meet physically again. Even so, we still have the option of virtual meetings, since they have become part of the way of doing business, and allow us to reach people far away. We have decided to close this project in GlobalGiving to concentrate efforts on our two main projects: Empower mental/emotional wellbeing in Puerto Rico (#43713), and Boost microbusiness in Puerto Rico (#48876). We thank all the people who very generously contributed to this project. You allowed us to continue our work during these years of pandemic social isolation.
