The Liberia team continues to make steady progress in strengthening local support for small-scale entrepreneurs.
Led by Mr. Fofana, they’ve completed important steps in formalizing operations—securing office space, submitting legal registration documents, and initiating the bank account setup. These developments are building a strong base for long-term impact.
As part of the next phase, the team is launching a microloan program to support 10 local entrepreneurs.
The focus is on businesses that serve their communities in sectors like agriculture, retail, fashion, education, and health. Selection is based on clear criteria, including active operations, at least three months in business, and a well-prepared business plan.
Beyond financial support, the team provides help with documentation and offers guidance on business planning and financial management. This ensures that entrepreneurs are not only funded but fully equipped to grow and succeed.
The Liberia branch has shown commitment and drive throughout the process, overcoming early challenges and moving forward with purpose.
With a strong structure now in place, the coming months will bring more updates on the selected entrepreneurs and the progress of their businesses.
