Support re-integration programs in Liberia & Kenya

Background

Liberia has a history marked by conflict and hardship, from its civil war ending in 2003 to the Ebola epidemic in 2014. These events left deep scars on its communities and economy, particularly affecting former child soldiers like Morris Matadi, founder of IDEFOCS.

HR&S has been working closely with Morris to reintegrate former child soldiers and foster sustainable development. Our efforts focus on empowering local entrepreneurs and addressing societal challenges through community-driven solutions.

Despite limited electricity, poor internet, and a lack of resources, our commitment to supporting Liberia remains unwavering. Connectivity challenges have hindered regular communication, but we are exploring innovative solutions like Starlink to enable better engagement between our teams.

We are also building partnerships with like-minded organizations to expand our reach and impact. By continuing to empower local leaders and entrepreneurs, we aim to strengthen communities, provide new opportunities, and build a brighter future for Liberia.
