Thanks to your generous donations, we have begun the third Sexual Education and Social Education and Career Training course at Salariin Kampucea. Please read on to find out more about our recruitment process for the 3rd generation students. After presentation of the second generation of Life Skills students on the 19th of Sept 2013, the success of the course led to more than 50 students applying for the course for 2013-2014. Unfortunately, many of the applicants were too young (minimum age is 13). As a result, there were 20 SK students who were eligible and able to fulfill in our requirements. To run the course we needed more than 30 students, therefore this allowed us to open up places to young people in the community who do not already attend Salariin Kampuchea. This is a exciting step for Salariin Kumpichea’s Life Skills Programme, as it allows us to reach more and more young people in the Chreav Commune. In the next three months, we would like again to look for new students and increase the reach of our Life Skills programme in the local community. We are very proud to have provided this extremely valuable course, and we would like to thank all donors who supported us through Global Giving. With the help of our partners at Global Giving, and you, we hope to keep building on this and moving forward with our personal and career training programme. Warm regards, The Salariin Kampuchea Team
