Your support helps EBPP's dedicated teachers provide quality, integrated education to over 232 children and young people attending our remote schools on the slopes of Mount Abang and Mount Agung in East Bali. With no nearby government schools, our teachers make education possible through academic learning, regenerative agriculture, arts, music, life skills, and youth empowerment-giving students the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
Children in EBPP's remote mountain communities face major barriers to education. Government schools are 1-2 hours away on steep mountain tracks, with no public transportation, making regular attendance nearly impossible. Recruiting and retaining qualified teachers is equally challenging. Without committed teachers, these children would lose their only realistic opportunity to receive a quality education and build a better future.
Your donation helps retain dedicated teachers who provide primary and secondary education while nurturing creativity, confidence, and practical life skills. Alongside the national curriculum, students learn regenerative agriculture, environmental stewardship, arts, music, health, leadership, and entrepreneurship. These experiences equip young people with the knowledge and skills to continue their education, find meaningful employment, and/or create sustainable livelihoods.
With dedicated teachers and long-term support, children from some of Bali's most isolated communities can complete their education and become confident, skilled, and self-reliant adults. Many graduates continue to vocational training, higher education, or employment, while others return to strengthen their communities. Investing in teachers today creates lasting change for future generations and helps break the cycle of poverty.
