Teachers Innovate to Improve Education Quality

EBPP teachers started the second semester in early January 2024 with a strong focus on scheduled monthly project-based student learning. In addition to academic activities, extracurriculars such as art clubs, computers, and English Club also play an important role in supporting the development of students' soft skills.

In English classes, students were assigned to perform English-language dramas, resulting in  improved confidence in speaking and expressing themselves in English through their presentations. Similarly in science classes, teachers have provided interesting activities with themes such as "Converting Wind Energy into Motion" and "Metamorphosis." Our students worked in groups, fostering cooperation and honing problem-solving skills, with truly remarkable results: in the allotted time, they managed to create such projects as a wind-powered car; and gave an educational presentation on the metamorphosis of butterflies! In addition, these activities serve as tools for us to evaluate students' understanding of the material.

In extracurricular music classes, our teachers guided students to create songs to support their campaign for local issues such as school dropouts, damaged roads, and child marriage. In art classes, our teacher provided picture story projects, allowing students to use their imagination and upskill their development of literacy, presenting them in front of the class. Meanwhile, in computer classes, instructors prepared various online games with educational topics to increase students' interest in learning. In counselling classes, students had the opportunity to understand their personalities through handwriting. In our popular extra English Clubs the teachers, as mentors, prepare fun activities such as games to increase students' interest in learning and increase vocabulary, with different topics given at each meeting.

At the end of March, teachers prepared a midterm evaluation to assess students' progress over the past three months.

Thank you to all our donors who continue providing support, so that all teachers can continue their innovative activities in teaching.
