Dear Donors,
We are writing to provide you with an update on the ongoing progress of our project, which your generous support has made possible.
We're thrilled to share that our project is flourishing, also thanks to the dedicated volunteers who have joined our efforts. These volunteers have been working tirelessly to plant and cultivate medicinal plants from the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest in our garden. Their hard work has not only resulted in the growth of these precious plants but has also led to the creation of various valuable products derived from them, including an essential oil, that is is being distilled as we speak.
They collected the leaves of 'Cambará', a plant with medicinal properties, including anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, and antimicrobial effects. It can also help with digestive disorders, act as a diuretic, and serve as an expectorant. However, its use should be approached with caution and under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Surprisingly, it's actually a rainforest plant teeming with benefits for people, yet most are unaware of its potential.
The medicinal plants in our garden play a vital role in the restoration of the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest, a unique and precious ecosystem facing numerous challenges. As we witness the positive outcomes of our collective efforts, we also recognize the financial challenges that lie ahead. To sustain and expand our project's reach, we require additional funds for ongoing maintenance, research, and educational initiatives.
We will remain dedicated to providing you with regular updates on our project's progress, and we hope that you will continue to stand with us in our mission. Your contributions are essential in ensuring the sustainability of our project and its broader impact on the restoration of this invaluable rainforest. So, thanks once again!
With heartfelt appreciation,
The Iracambi team
