It is with great pleasure that we share the latest news and exciting experiences from our program. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting our friends from the partnering company who generously supported us financially. During their visit, we provided them with a unique and enriching experience exploring the medicinal plants of the Atlantic Forest and learning about their therapeutic benefits.

It was an extraordinary opportunity for them to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature and witness firsthand the healing power of the Atlantic Rainforest native plants. Together, we harvested samples of medicinal plants and guided them in creating natural cosmetics using these precious ingredients. It was a moment of deep connection with nature and a discovery of the endless possibilities it offers us to promote physical and emotional well-being.

This experience not only highlighted the importance of the program but also demonstrated how our commitment to biodiversity preservation can result in tangible benefits for all involved. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share our knowledge and passion for nature with our partners and donors.

We are thrilled to share that your commitment to our work has been a driving force in our mission to combat climate change and preserve the Atlantic Rainforest.

In alignment with our broader mission to tackle climate change and conserve biodiversity, and with your support, we’ve made a real impact in 2023. We’ve restored 46 hectares of rainforest—equivalent to nearly 86 football fields. We’ve graduated 90 young environmental leaders and we’re building a cohort of rural women who are all set to protect, preserve, and use forest medicinal plants to improve the health of their families. 

As we approach the end of the year, we want to emphasize the importance of the last three days.
