SUPPORTING UKRAINIAN ATHLETES AFFECTED BY WAR

During the second reporting period, the Belarusian Sport Solidarity Foundation (BSSF) made a strategic decision not to conduct marketing campaigns focused on promoting fundraising for the support of Ukrainian athletes on the GlobalGiving platform. This decision, influenced by various factors, underscores our commitment to thoughtful planning and sustainable project development. We are actively exploring future opportunities to enhance our fundraising efforts, ensuring a more impactful and widespread engagement.

While GlobalGiving fundraising activities were paused, our commitment to supporting Ukrainian athletes remained steadfast. The BSSF became one of the partners of the White Panther Cup, a prominent athletic event held on January 13, 2023, in Kiev, Ukraine. The White Panther Cup attracted the participation of 311 youth and children athletes from 15 regions of Ukraine.

The partnership with the White Panther Cup was a deliberate effort to contribute significantly to the development of youth sports in Ukraine. By aligning with such esteemed athletic events, the BSSF seeks to create a positive and lasting impact on the sporting landscape for the benefit of the nation's youth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors who supported our project during the first reporting period. Your invaluable contributions facilitated the seamless delivery of charitable cargo from Estonia to Ukraine, playing a pivotal role in the success of our initiatives. As we enter subsequent phases, we eagerly anticipate and appreciate your continued support. Together, we aim to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of Ukrainian athletes.
