Project Report | Jan 17, 2012
In Their Own Words

By J. Davis | Project Assistant

In 2011, 3 Generations researched, filmed, and shared the stories of many genocide survivors. We are pleased to share a few words from two survivors who have shared their stories with us.

“I am a happy to tell my story because when I do I calm down, I feel better, less heavy. I am happy.”

Ann-Marie, Rwandan Genocide Survivor

“You have to tell the story to your children, not to make hate but to try and prevent. That is the cause we have to proclaim, always.”

Alice, Armenian Genocide Survivor

We are currently researching and filming more survivors in preparation to create and share new stories in 2012.

What you can do in 2012 and beyond:

-Sponsor a story

-Listen to the stories we have created

-Share our work

-Donate to our programs

Thank you for your support.
