IT4ALL Programme Three-Month Progress Report

Over the past three months, the IT4ALL Programme has continued to advance its mission of creating inclusive digital learning opportunities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This period also coincided with the implementation of our annual evaluation, aimed at assessing learner progress, programme impact, and areas for improvement.

Below are the key highlights from this reporting period:

Digital Literacy Training

A total of 21 participants received foundational training in basic computer skills, including navigating desktops, opening applications, and independently using educational tools.

70% of learners now demonstrate confidence using the mouse, keyboard, and touchscreen.

30% are still developing these essential digital skills and continue to receive targeted support.

Introduction to Coding with ScratchJr

Participants were introduced to visual programming using ScratchJr, enabling them to create simple animations and interactive stories.

10% of learners successfully applied logic blocks and movement commands to express creative ideas.

90% are gradually progressing toward mastery with ongoing guided practice.

Hands-On Learning & Problem-Solving Activities

Interactive sessions featuring puzzles, matching games, and digital drag-and-drop activities were organized to strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and cognitive engagement.

These activities promoted patience, teamwork, and active participation.

27% of learners are still developing competence in these activities, while 15% are yet to begin.

Typing Skills Development with Typing Land

Some new learners were introduced to Typing Land, a user-friendly platform designed to build typing confidence and accuracy.

Participants showed improvement in finger placement, key recognition, and typing rhythm.

12% completed exercises with minimal assistance, while 58% are yet to commence structured typing practice.

Individual Progress, Inclusive Support & Annual Evaluation

Throughout the reporting period, individualized progress tracking remained central to programme delivery, allowing facilitators to tailor teaching approaches to each learner’s needs.

As part of the annual evaluation, facilitators and caregivers provided feedback and assessments on learner development. Findings indicate noticeable improvements in learners’ focus, communication skills, confidence, and enthusiasm toward technology-based learning.
