Purchase of Seedlings Bringing aguaje palm seedlings to the center Construction of the plant nursery Traditional banana farm Planting an aguaje palm (Mauritia flexuosa) Grand and Great Grand Daughters Bekanwe! Our founding great grand mother teaching pottery. Reforestation together with Alianza Arkana. Our student cafeteria and kitchen. Aguaje (Mauritia flexuosa) ready for planting. The aguaje planted along our floodplain perimeter. Preparing foundation for final student cabin. Already harvesting from our gray water gardens! A view from our new water tower! Our dinning area and kitchen nearing completion. Construction of the round house leaf roof. Finished with a traditional Shipibo-Konibo design! Meanwhile all the plants are growing and thriving! Family members helped distribute trees to plant. Parents cleared rows of land to plant 356 trees. A kitchen to provide food for students.
