Good afternoon.
We hope and pray that this report finds you in good health.
July is a month I would like to put in my rear view mirror. Having Covid and then food poisoning is a terrible way to spend the better part of the month. With proper medical care I was able to deal with the symptons and recover from both ailments.
This is not always possible in the developing world and the rural areas where there are no clinics, no doctors and little medicine.
That is why employment is so important. When we first began BonZeb in 2012 the workers were very excited and remember one telling us that he was finally able to take his wife into town to see a doctor.
We hoped that are vision of creating jobs would help even more. Today, in Boucantiste, we employ 40 workers, who inturn support 32 spouses and 140 children.
We are also in the midst of planting our first field on the Help4Haiti BonZeb farm in Leveque where an additional 10 workers have been employed since January.
For us this is great news and we look forward to those numbers growing this fall as we launch the facorty in Bernaco.
We thank you for you past support and would love to have your support as part of this launch. NDUH Bioscience school professor and engineer will be traveling to Bernaco from Hinche this week with hopes of helping the team fire up the kiln and test all its parts. That will give us an idea of what we still have to do to get it ready for daily use. Please keep that in your prayers and we look forward to having you on our team.
Thank you.
Tom
